This is a flower from Wendy's hidden Garden out back. I have no idea what it is, very short compared to the other lilies. Anyone know?
Colorful Season Stamp Set is one of my favorite sets in the new catalog! We have made tons of cards with it. Here is the card and details. Wednesday the 20th is a 10/20 class if you want to make some great cards!
Sets: Colorful Season
Card Stock: Cajun Craze, Peekaboo Peach, Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry
Inks: Soft Suede, Old Olive, Crushed Curry (markers of same colors), Peekaboo Peach
Other: Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies, mask, daubers, Wood Textures DSP Stack, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets, Marker Spritzer
Stamp four small leaves using Old Olive ink on a thin Whisper White strip, cut these out with the Seasonal Layer Dies.
Stamp four large leaves using Soft Suede Ink on a Whisper White half sheet and color them using the daubers with Crushed Curry ink. When using the daubers start off the actual page and use a circular motion. Spray these leaves with the spritzer using Cajun Craze maker, cut the leaves out using the Seasonal Layer Dies.
Cut out a Crushed Curry leaf using the Seasonal Layers Dies. Cut this leaf so you are only using one per card.
Layer a mask on the Very Vanilla CS. Using the Peekaboo Peach ink color in the moon. Start heavy on one side – ON THE MASK – and using circular motions color in one side heavy and the other side light.
Stamp the saying on the top left of the Very Vanilla CS using Soft Suede ink. Use the spritzer and Soft Suede, Old Olive and Crushed Curry marker to spritz the top right side of the Very Vanilla CS.
The chair has Adhesive sheets on the back so just peel this off and place on the card front.
Adhere the leaves to the card front as shown above using glue of all the leave except the small Old Olive ones, those use dimensionals.
Adhere the Peekaboo Peach CS to the Cajun Craze card base, then adhere the Very Vanilla CS front to the Peekaboo Peach CS.
Using the Crushed Curry marker, make some lines around the bottom of the chair to connect it, then use the Cajun Craze marker to add some extra color to the lines.
Join us on the 20th at the Quality Inn in Lodi. First class is free!
