Hey, Chick Day 3

My favorite Chick makes another appearance!  Notice all the Wink of Stella – just have to have that bling!  Day three was about how to do use background washes and just washes in general.

Early Espresso Card Stock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4; 4″ x 2 1/2″

Basic White Card Stock: 5 1/4″ x 4″; 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″; Scrap for chick, fence and Happy Birthday

In Good Taste DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4″

Crumb Cake Card Stock: 2″ x 2″ scrap

Adhere DSP to card Base with green Glue.

Stamp Chick with Memento Ink set aside, stamp saying on Crumb Cake card stock and cut out with sign die.

Use Pool Party Blends to make a wash on the 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ Basic White card stock. Use Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Blends to make a wash on Basic White scrap for the fence.  Use Pumpkin Pie and Poppy Parade Blends to make a wash on scrap of Basic White card stock for Happy Birthday.  Use dies to cut out fence and Happy Birthday.

Adhere a 2 1/2″ x 2″ of Champagne Foil onto Adhesive Sheet and cut out wire from the dies, peel off the back sticky strip and apply fence to front of 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ Basic White card stock that you did the Pool Party wash on.  Use paper snips to cut off the overhang.  Using green glue adhere Basic White card stock to Early Espresso 4 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ card stock, stick the sign out of the top left corner in between the two layers.  Adhere this to the card base using dimensionals.

Cut the fence to fit on both sides of the Early Espresso card layer and adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Color Hey, Chick with stamping Blends, cut out with die and adhere on top of Basic White card stock layer on top of the wire.

Adhere Happy Birthday on the Basic White stock above the Hey,Chick.
