I love this card. I love collage! And I really appreciate our hostesses. You do have to be a hostess to get some of these items. The Postage Stamp and the little stamps on the Postage Stamp are only available if you are a hostess. But of course, you will want to be a Hostess! Stay tuned to the blog in the next week as we show you what went on at the Hostess Appreciation Parties! We had a wonderful time!
Remember, our theme for last year was Butterflies.
Have you had your workshop yet to find out what next years theme is going to be?
We used Pool Party Cardstock and we embossed the beautiful "Hello Dollie" with the Pool Party Embossing Powder. We used the This & That DSP and the hostess set called Postage Collection. And it is so much fun to dap and doodle inside those Postage Stamps. So, you need to e-mail me right here to set up a workshop. There is so much stuff you need to see before the Holiday Mini comes out in August.
So what we did with these is we stamped, using the Postage Collection stamp set, the outside square and decorated the inside with some of the little stamps. So much fun to mix and match. I am real excited to use this stamp set. I'm trying to figure out how to use this stamp set at the One of a Kind show in November.
We used the Postage Stamp Punch and the 1 1/4" circle punch. We used Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Pool Party and Smokey Slate for the ink colors. Don't you love Smokey Slate? It is my new reach for, goto color that you just have to have.
We used the Pool Party embossing powder which means you need a heat too and an embossing buddy. Look for next month's newsletter for the question of the month, "How do you emboss a large item?" I've seen some tattered pieces of lace embossing lately. Don't get our newsletter? Sign up is available on the left hand side of the blog under Connect with Us.
