I just love this card! Here is another super fast easy card from the July 10 for 20 card class. It is using the stamp set called Regarding Dalias.
This is a fast card to make and that is just what we are trying to give you. We know everyone is busy and not everyone has a lot of time. So, especially at our 10 for 20 classes, we are trying to give you cards that go together fast and easy but still look really classy.
This card, especially, is super easy. It only requires one embossing folder, one stamp set and some white embossing powder and some punches know that I am thinking about it. So, it's a really fun, easy card to do.
I just love this big dahlia stamp from Regarding Dahlias. For this card, we kept it clean and simple but for some of the other cards, we plan on coloring the dahlia in. For the base layer, we used Baked Brown Sugar . Now, doesn't that just sound yummy? Doesn't it sound like some sugar cookies should be coming out of the oven? Oh, that is what I think of every time I say, "Can we use Baked Brown Sugar please?". The next step down is Whisper White Cardstock run through the BigShot using the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder. Then on the Pistachio Pudding Cardstock (Did you all know that Pistachio Pudding is my very favorite pudding flavor in the whole world?) we just stamped the dahlia with versamark and then used white embossing powder. We repeated the same thing for the "hi". We used 2 of the circle punches and one of the circle framelits to get the 3 layers. We kinda liked the different sizes available.
We kept this card more gender neutral because we knew we had Eleanor, who has a lot of boys, coming to our class. To make this more girly, you could take off the hi and add a ribbon behind the flower, or a bow. Just have fun with this and try different things to see what you like.
