These are two very different flower arrangements from Hostess Appreciation. This one was the centerpiece on the middle of the table. It is so beautiful and the blue butterfly was for Wendy. It also had the Lilies that she loves. I have to give a lot of praise to the flower shop in Lodi. Nancy's Floral & Gifts is located at 146 S. Main St in Lodi. She is amazing. She was able to create this beautiful arrangement right away and she had really interesting flowers like thistles! So, if you need flowers, I highly recommend her!
This flower arrangement is made totally from Stampin'Up! Materials. We saw this on the internet and we wanted to reproduce it so we got instructions on how to make it.. But we wanted to use only Stampin'Up!. The original used glass test tubes to put candies in them. We used the wrappers from Stampin'Up! Anyway, Wendy made this whole thing with only a little help. It was really fun. It is one of those really futzy things to create and it took Wendy a long time. But the end result was wonderful and oh so pretty.
The middle of the flowers were made with the new Simply Pressed Clay! We made them with the white clay, then colored them with markers after the clay had air dried. I then rubbed some crystal effects on it to add that bit of bling.
We used the Flower Shop Bundle, which includes the Pansy Punch and the stamp set we used. Buying it in a bundle saves you 15% and you get to benefit of having the coordinating products. The larger flowers are cut out with the Blossom Flower punch.
The base is made out of those great boxes. I can't wait to see how creative you all will be this year.
So, come and be a hostess this year by sharing your love of stamping with some of your friends and then you can join us at the next Hostess Appreciation Dinner.
