This card was from February 10 for 20 class. I made up extra's of these to send to the out of town people, and I made up a whole bunch of these to send out for myself. It's just so fun to send a quick "Oh, hello" greeting! It's just a great card to have on hand to send to people that you are thinking about.
The base of the card is done with Soft Suede. It is a very simple card. You take the Very Vanilla Card Stock and you run it through the Needlepoint Border Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (129383). You can barely see it, but that is what the indentation on the left hand side of the Vanilla Card Stock is. You run it through the Big Shot – Don't have a Big Shot? Let me know. This is a GREAT time to get one. You can sign up to be a demonstrator – for $99 you get $165 worth of merchandise that you pick and you get to come to my classes for FREE for the first year! Which is like INCREDIBLE!
And we stamped it with the new "Oh, Hello" stamp set. We got this set for free when we went to Leadership in Orlando. That's another fun thing about being a demonstrator – all the trips you can earn.
First we used Crumb Cake Ink to stamp the oval. The words were stamped with Soft Suede, kinda to the right to leave room for the flower with Raspberry Ripple. That bit of color helps the card "pop".
This card is clean and simple. So unlike me, not collagey and doesn't include many layers. Just quick, simple and elegant. On the inside, we stamped a Raspberry Ripple Flower at the top of the inside Vanilla Card Stock. This card is a top opening card for a little extra interest.
