Here is another card sample that uses a different technique called Color Resist.
Materials used for this card:
Stamp Sets: Creative Elements, Petite Pairs
Ink Pads: Jet Black Staz-On, Pool Party classic ink
Cardstock: Basic Black, Pool Party, Whisper White, Glossy White
Accessories: White crayon, Basic Black Dotted Swiss Ribbon, dimensional,
1 ¾” Circle Punch; Circles #2 and Perfect Pennants Big Shot Dies, Basic Rhinestones

You can't really tell by the picture, but the part under the butterfly is glossy and looks like plastic. It adds a richness and sophistication to this card that really complements the colors and textures. This would be a great technique to showcase at a workshop. Some of the techniques listed I do not recognize. Doesn't necessarily mean I don't know them, just don't know them by name. I really love watercoloring, whether using pencils or the crayons. I prefer using the water brushes rather than the blender pens. I get better detail with the brushes.
