This is the kind of card you make when you only want to say a little bit to someone and don't want to write a whole bunch. Because this is actually a card front and only the very front of the little card with the 2 flowers on it opens up. And once you put a saying inside of it, you will see there isn't really much room to add something else.
The Card Front is Rich Razzleberry. It is just a card front so you save a lot of your cardstock when you make this. For the step down, we used the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. You can see how you could use any one of the 3 different pieces of paper from here to make this card. We used the Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink to stamp the flowers from the Raining Flowers Stamp Set which did retire. What stamp set from the new catalog would you use instead? And then we used Lucky Limeade to stamp the center and punched them out with the 3/4" circle punch.
The inside greeting is from the now retired Friendly Phrases stamp set. There are some really nice greeting stamps in the new catalog. What set do you like?
This card is an easy, fast way to use up some of your "extra" Designer Series Paper, but it is also a fun way to create a quick card set for an easy gift. For a gift package, you could leave the inside blank or include a greeting stamp set and a coordinating ink pad for a cute gift anyone would appreciate receiving.
