Blends and Birthday Blooms!

FUN, FUN, FUN with Stampin’Blends!

This is the card we made at class last month to introduce everyone to Stampin’UP! Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers.  I love how easy they blend together with NO lines!

On this card I colored the entire flower and buds with LIGHT Pink Pirouette then went back and did my highlighting (really just followed the lines on the stamp) with the Dark Pink Pirouette.  Then I went back with LIGHT Pink Pirouette and blended the dark and light together.  I have found the easiest way to do this is one flower at a time and layer color on once then go back and add more in places as needed.  You need to try these for yourself.

A couple of tips:

Color each flower one at a time -they blend better wet, and they will go through the back of the paper so have something under your work.

The color does bleed out a tiny bit so you might want to not color all the way to the edge of the  stamped image.

Here is the link to learn about them and my personal special to get them in your hands!
