This is a Collage Card that we made at the Fall All Day Event. We have so much fun at our all day events and our new all weekend events. We have another weekend event already scheduled for August – Fall Frolic. Mark your calendars for August 23rd – August 25th. It will be in Madison at the same hotel as before, East Towne Suites. Look for more information in the coming months.
So to create this card, you want to place the embossed image on the right side of the Very Vanilla card stock leaving an edge on the top and the bottom. Emboss the Very Vanilla card stock using the large stamp from the Postage Due set with Versamark Ink and Clear Embossing Powder… yes, make sure to use the embossing buddy. Heat the embossing powder. Be sure to get it all heated as this is a large stamp. First, using More Mustard Ink, sponge three parts of the emobssed image all the way out to the edges of the Very Vanilla card stock, Next sponge Rich Razzleberry Ink on the flower and one other part of the embossed image. Last use the Midnight Muse Ink to spong the bike and one other part of the embossed image. This is not sponged on glossy paper so you will have to work the colors in a little bit to get it to work good.
Use a tissue to rub the ink off the embossed image.
The resist requires a little more circling with the sponge as the paper will absorb the ink very fast and does not spread like the Glossy card stock.
Stamp the postage images. Punch out the stamped postage images with the postage stamp punch… Remember to stamp the inside of the card with one of the postage stamp images.
Sponge the edge of all the Very Vanilla card stock pieces using Crumb Cake Ink… I also lightly sponged the top of the postage images as well.
Adhere the large piece of Very Vanilla card stock to the More Mustard card stock. Adhere the ribbon around the card stock. Next adhere the More Mustard card stock with the ribbon on it to the Rich Razzleberry card base.
Now add dimensionals to the punched out postage images and adhere them to the left size of the card. Last add a faux knot bow to the ribbon and adhere using a glue dot.
